Attivare la funzione di "auto-complete" su Google

Questa funzionalità era già presente (con la stessa grafica, a quanto vedo..) in un'estensione per Mozilla che si chiama CustomizeGoogle. Dopo aver letto quest'articolo e quello sugli shortcuts da tastiera, è lecito pensare che Google stia pian piano inglobando al suo interno quanto di meglio è stato fatto finora da terzi?

Ho provato ad inserire un indirizzo di YouTube che iniziava con http://it.youtube.com/watch?…. ma non funzionava. Tutto è andato meglio sostituendo it.youtube con www.youtube
