Sono moltissimi gli utenti di Internet ad avere un blog e molti sono ormai abituati ad inserirne il link nella firma che viene aggiunta automaticamente in calce alle email. Questo link è statico e di solito punta alla homepage del blog.
David Feinleib e Tom Cole hanno sviluppato una piccola applicazione, chiamata BlogSigs, in grado di inserire nella firma delle vostre email il titolo ed il permalink all’ultimo post pubblicato nel vostro blog.
BlogSigs funziona con Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo! Mail ed Hotmail.
Il funzionamento di BlogSigs è molto semplice. Dopo aver scaricato il file di setup ed aver eseguito l’installazione, dovrete impostare i settaggi del programma, che consistono nel definire l’url del feed del vostro blog, nello scegliere la frequenza di aggiornamento e nell’inserire i dati dell’account della vostra posta. Potete anche scegliere quale testo inserire nella firma per segnalare il vostro ultimo post, ad esempio “Leggi il mio ultimo post:…”
BlogSigs al momento è disponibile soltanto per ambiente Windows ed opera in tray nel sistema, per cui dovete essere sicuri che venga lanciato all’avvio del PC e che la sua iconcina appaia nella System Tray.Via | del.icio.us
